Chef Bismarck's passion for cooking began as a young boy helping his grandmother at her restaurant in Nicaragua — from cleaning fish to stealing bites of her garlic shrimp when she wasn't looking. That early love affair with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and the joy of feeding people never left him.
After graduating from the culinary program at Escuela Bellart in Barcelona, Spain, Bismarck worked as a chef in restaurants and hotels across Europe, the Caribbean, and Latin America before settling in Northern Virginia. His professional experience ranges from large Michelin-starred restaurants to small, beloved local cafés in many different countries.
While food from the Spanish and Italian regions are his personal favorites, he brings expertise in cuisines from around the world to every event La Chica serves. That global perspective is exactly what makes every event he touches feel truly special.
Allison
Allison is the organizational heart of La Chica Event & Party Rental. As Catering Coordinator and Co-Owner, she ensures that every single detail — from the first quote to the final pickup — is handled with care, precision, and a personal touch.
Her deep knowledge of event logistics, client communication, and party planning makes her the go-to person when you need someone who truly listens. Whether it's a small birthday gathering or a grand wedding reception for 200, Allison makes sure every client feels like the most important event on the calendar.
Together with Chef Bismarck, she has built La Chica into Northern Virginia's most trusted name in event and party rentals — a business founded on warmth, reliability, and a genuine love of making people's celebrations unforgettable.
